Kash Ali has been handed a six-month ban for biting David Price. Ali was disqualified in the fifth round for biting his Liverpudlian opponent on several occasions during their heavyweight bout on March 30. The British Boxing Board of Control have also fined the 27-year-old £10,000. The Birmingham fighter apologised for his conduct admitting he was "embarrassed" by his actions. "I would like to apologise for my unacceptable behaviour in my fight against David Price," he said earlier this month. "I am sorry to all boxing fans, to my team, my family, the British Boxing Board, David Price, his team, and his family. "I am hugely embarrassed for my actions and the way the whole fight unfolded.
