Sasha Obama, the former president's younger daughter, graduated from high school on Sunday with her parents, Barack and Michelle Obama, and her sister Malia in attendance. Her school, Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., posted a picture of her graduating class on Instagram and Facebook, showing Sasha, 18, in the second row from the back, fourth from the left.  The Instagram post featured a quote from the 2019 commencement speaker, Sheila Johnson, plus congratulations. "Life has never been about you or about me. Life and all that matters within it has always been about us.  "Congratulations to the Class of 2019! We can’t wait to see the great things you will do!" The Obamas' post-White House office in Washington did not respond to a message from USA TODAY seeking comment. Former US president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle are producing for Netflix an adaptation of Michael Lewis's book "The Fifth Risk," a critique of Donald Trump's rise to power. The video-on-demand platform announced a year ago that the former first couple had entered into a multi-year agreement to produce films and series with Netflix. On Tuesday, Netflix unveiled the initial projects for Higher Ground Productions, Obama's production company in partnership with the streaming service. Among them is the adaptation of Lewis's book in "non-fiction" form, Netflix said in a statement. The series "will aim to portray the importance of unheralded work done by everyday heroes guiding our government and safeguarding our nation," it said. The former US president cracked his joke while speaking at a town hall in Berlin for an event organised by the Obama Foundation where he was was joined by "emerging European leaders" to discuss topics including climate change, inequality and nationalism He explained the organisation which bears his name was non-partisan, before making the joke about Michelle Obama. "I've held my last political office," the 57-year-old said. "Michelle would leave me if I ever ran for office again."
