Meghan Markle's half-sister says she's a 'wealthy narcissist,' slams story from 'imaginary' pals

Image
© FoxNews.com Meghan Markle's half-sister, Samantha Grant, wants to dispel rumors about her family resulting from vicious media scrutiny stemming from the royal engagement announcement. Meghan Markle's estranged half-sister slammed a new fawning report that cited five of the Duchess of Sussex's friends and former colleagues, in which they sought to "stand up against the global bullying we are seeing and speak the truth about our friend." The article claimed that Meghan, 37, had no relationship with her half-siblings and that she and Prince Harry tried to mend her relationship with her father, Thomas Markle, from whom she's been estranged since he missed the royal wedding in May 2018. "#PeopleMagazine this article is total bulls*** there are plenty of text messages and receipts to prove otherwise. Stop the PR crap #Fake News," Samantha Markle, 54, tweeted Wednesday. She also posted a meme reading, "When a narcissist has lost control over

Body recovered on Sala plane arrives in Dorset

Image
The body "successfully recovered" from the wreckage of the plane that was carrying footballer Emiliano Sala and pilot David Ibbotson has landed in Dorset. Remotely operated vehicles in "challenging conditions" were used to pull the body out of the water "in as dignified a way as possible", according to the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB). Images show an ambulance bringing the body from a ship into land at Dorset this morning. It has not been confirmed whether the body is that of Sala or Mr Ibbotson. The body was going to the Isle of Portland in order to be passed into the care of the Dorset coroner, an AAIB spokesman said. Poor weather conditions stopped efforts to recover the aircraft, which remains 67 metres underwater, 21 miles off the coast of Guernsey in the English Channel. The dispute between former President Robert Mugabe’s family business, Gushungo Holdings and Seed Potato Co-op (Pvt) Ltd, is set to be resolved today at the High Court where the two parties will appear before Justice Helena Charehwa. BY CHARLES LAITON . The seed company last year obtained a default judgment against Mugabe’s business on a case involving $174 183, which Gushungo is challenging. In another matter, Gushungo petitioned the court claiming $712 530 compensation from Seed Potato, accusing the company of selling substandard seeds contrary to the parties’ agreement. According to court papers, the former Head of State’s business was on July 2, 2018 slapped with a $174 183 default judgement after failing to defend the litigation that was instituted by the seed company in May last year. The little boy going viral after Donald Trump's State of the Union address

Image
Donald Trump gave his most presidential-sounding State of the Union address yet, but all the people of the internet are concerned with is the 11-year-old boy who fell asleep during it. Joshua Trump , who is not related to the US president, stole the attention when he nodded off during the 82-minute speech. Which maybe we shouldn’t be so surprised about because what 11-year-old (or… anyone) could possibly sit through an 82-minute speech? Of course, people on Twitter had their own interpretations, phrasing the nap as an act of defiance. Queen Elizabeth's favourite child revealed - and it's not Prince Charles

While most of us see the Queen as a dedicated monarch who has led her country for 67 years, to her four children she is just mum.  The Queen and Prince Philip are parents to Prince Charles , Princess Anne , Prince Andrew and Prince Edward - but according to one royal expert she has an "obvious" favourite. The couple fell pregnant with Charles shortly after their wedding, and Anne followed just a year later. But there was then an 11 year gap before next royal baby , and during those years the King George VI died and Princess Elizabeth became Queen. In Jeremy Paxman's new Channel 5 documentary the journalist spoke to royal historian Piers Brendon who believes Andrew is the Queen's favourite.  While most most assume Charles is in the top spot as he's set to follow in her footsteps as monarch, Piers claims there is a very specific reason why Andrew beats him in the Queen's eyes. Speaking on Paxman on the Queen's Children he says Andrew was an "

Trump now says he wants more legal immigration

(AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster) WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump says he's now in favor of more legal immigration because of economic gains on his watch. Trump raised eyebrows in his State of the Union speech Tuesday when he said he wanted people "to come into our country in the largest numbers ever, but they have to come in legally." His policy positions to date do not reflect that wish. Asked Wednesday during a meeting with regional reporters whether the line represented a change in policy, Trump said it did. That's according to a transcript tweeted by a reporter from The Advocate newspaper in which Trump is quoted saying: "I need more people coming in because we need people to run the factories and plants and companies that are moving back in." In his speech Tuesday, Trump had ar

Claims of great white shark near popular Northland swimming spot

In a Facebook post uploaded to the Houhora Community Noticeboard, resident John Boag claimed he saw the large shark, believed to be more than 3 metres long, leaping into the air on Tuesday - only 100 metres from the shore. Mr Boag was sitting on his deck with a friend overlooking the Houhora wharf, which he says is a popular spot for people wanting to jump into the harbour, when he saw the animal, reports NZME. ''I pointed out roughly where it was in the water and blow me, about 10 seconds later we see a kerfuffle in the water it was quite unbelievable,'' he said. He said he had seen a similar shark in the area last summer and believes it had caught a kingfish which are found the area of water. "We saw a bit of commotion in the water as if it was chasing something then it leapt out about thre
