An anti-poaching ranger in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has described his striking selfie with a pair of endangered mountain gorillas as "just another day in the office". Virunga National Park anti-poaching ranger Mathieu Shamavu posted his selfie with the two gorillas on Facebook as part of his units' efforts to raise awareness and funds for the species at the UNESCO World Heritage site. The image, featuring the two gorillas standing upright and looking at the camera, has grabbed international attention on social media, bringing the plight of the species into the spotlight. According to the Virunga National Park website, one third of the world's population of critically endangered mountain gorillas live in the region. The park is protected by a team of more than 600 rangers, and is situated in a region of the country which has been impacted by war for more than 20 years. Singer-actor Nick Jonas and his wife and actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas are not looking to expand their family just yet. The 26-year-old musician was asked by Extra if he and the 36-year-old actress were going to have a child anytime soon, reports dailymail.co.uk. Pope Francis sent a message to the Chief Rabbi of Rome Riccardo Di Segni wishing him and the Jewish community a happy Passover, the Italian Jewish newspaper Pagine Ebraiche reported on Thursday. “At the eve of the Festival of Pesach, I wish to extend the most cordial and fraternal wishes to you and to the Jewish Community of Rome. May merciful God accompany you with his blessing and grant you peace and harmony,” the Pope wrote.  “In renewing the bonds of friendship and the shared commitment to the needy in our society on this happy occasion, I assure you that you are in my thoughts and I ask you to continue to pray for me.
