Manchester United  and Chelsea will go head-to-head on Sunday in what could prove to be a pivotal battle in the race to qualify for next season’s  Champions League . Just three points separate fourth-placed Chelsea and sixth-placed Manchester United before their  Premier League  clash, with  Arsenal  sandwiched in between them in the table. The three sides look set to be fighting it out for one remaining Champions League spot, with Tottenham Hotspur perhaps just out of reach in third, and United could effectively be out of the running, should they suffer defeat to Maurizio Sarri’s men. However, Paul Merson is expecting Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men to keep their hopes alive with a vital three points – and believes Marcus Rashford will be the man to make the difference.

Horacio Sala, Emiliano Sala's father dies of heart attack

Emiliano Sala's father has died of a heart attack three months after his footballer son was tragically killed in a plane crash. Julio Muller, the mayor of his hometown of Progreso, Argentina, confirmed that the 58-year-old died on Friday. He said he died during the night and paramedics were unable to save him. He said: "2019 doesn't let up in shocking us with news in this town. "At 5 o'clock in the morning, the lady, his wife, rang me and she was very upset. The doctors were there but when I arrived at their home, he had already died." Emiliano Sala was killed, along with pilot David Ibbotson, when the Piper Malibu aircraft they were travelling in came down in the English Channel on January 21, two days after Cardiff had made him their record signing. A PARROT WAS JAILED IN BRAZIL

Brazilian authorities took a parrot into custody after it alerted suspected drug dealers of cops nearby, according to the  Guardian .  The bird was seized on Monday afternoon after police descended on a drug den in Vila Irmã Dulce, a low-income neighborhood in northeast Brazil. The unidentified parrot allegedly warned the couple that ran the shack by shouting, "Mama, the police!" in Portuguese, Brazilian. "He must have been trained for this," a policeman who took part in the operation said. "As soon as the police got close he started shouting." Police were still able to arrest the pair. In the process, they recovered drugs — including crack and marijuana — and large amounts of cash. cash were less successful, however, in getting the parrot to cooperate after it was taken to "jail.

Offset has been charged with felony gun possession

TMZ reported that prosecutors in the Peach State filed three charges against the Migos rapper in February, including a firearms possession by a convicted felon, a felony, and misdemeanor charges for marijuana possession and improper lane change. A felony charge of possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime was dropped. Cardi's man was arrested last July after being pulled over near Atlanta for an improper lane change. While pulled over, officers allegedly discovered three weapons in the car and $107,000 in cash.

ICONIC 007 LOCATION WILL BE ANNOUNCED BY JAMES BOND

007 will be announced Thursday from an "iconic 007 location", according to the official James Bond Twitter account. The big reveal is to come at 1210 GMT, with users able to ask the cast questions using the #BOND25 hashtag. The 25th edition of the British spy saga has been beset by problems and delays. Initially scheduled for release last autumn, the film was then pushed back to February. It is now expected to debut on April 8. The Playlist, an industry news site, reported that Scott Z. Burns has been hired to rewrite the original script by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. It called Burns "one of the top emergency rescue script doctors in Hollywood". British actress and director Phoebe Waller-Bridge was also brought in to "liven up" the script at Craig's request, The Guardian reported this month. Former president Robert Mugabe failed to turn up in court

Former President Robert Mugabe yesterday failed to turn up in court in Chinhoyi, where he was expected to testify against four of his workers who allegedly stole close to a million dollars from his rural Zvimba home. The workers, Constancia Mugabe (50), Johanne Mapurisa (50), Saymore Nhetekwa (47) and Andrew Muhumbe (37) are accused of stealing US$922 000 from a briefcase at Mugabe’s rural home. Prosecutor Herald Matura said Mugabe was out of the country, seeking medical treatment. Chinhoyi magistrate Amos Mubobo postponed the case to June 10, 2019. But defence lawyer, Tapiwa Muchineripi was not amused and requested the court to relax bail conditions for his clients. Mubobo granted the request and ruled that the accused will no longer report to the police every Friday.

Archaeologists have discovered an ancient tomb at south East of Egypt

Archaeologists have discovered an ancient tomb containing dozens of mummies at a site in the south east of Egypt. Cut into rock and hidden behind a stone wall, the tomb contained the bodies of both adults and children stored across multiple burial chambers. As well as human remains, Egyptian and Italian researchers found artifacts including vases, coffin fragments, intricately decorated masks, cartonnages and a statuette, Egypt’s Ministry of Antiquities reported Tuesday. The main room of the tomb contained about 30 mummies, including the remains of several young children tucked into a recess on one side of the chamber. Archaeologists also found tools of the funerary trade in the room, including a mummy-transporting stretcher made from palm wood and pieces of linen, several jars of bitumen, a lamp and a painted statuette of the “Ba-bird”: a part-bird, part-human figurine depicting the “soul of the deceased,” the Egyptian ministry explained.   The room ...
