'John Wick 3' and some other movies character posters reveal new villain

John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum is blasting into cinemas on May 17, 2019, and, to celebrate, Lionsgate has unleashed a load of fancy new posters – which give us our first proper look at the film’s main villain, Zero.
But we’ve thrown all the posters into a handy gallery, which you can click through while walking the dog or taking out contracts on your enemies, whatever it is you do on a Thursday.
Oh, and here’s the film’s awesome synopsis.
John Wick is on the run for two reasons… he’s being hunted for a global $14 million open contract on his life, and for breaking a central rule: taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. The victim was a member of the High Table who ordered the open contract,” it reads.
John should have already been executed, except the Continental’s manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he’s ‘Excommunicado’ – membership revoked, banned from all services and cut off from other members. John uses the service industry to stay alive as he fights and kills his way out of New York City.

John chills with his doggo mate, who we’re absolutely sure will be totally fine for the entirety of this movie. They… they wouldn’t kill another good boy in this franchise, would they?

Halle Berry’s assassin Sofia has not one, but TWO dogs – we wonder if they’ll get involved in an action sequence…

One of John Wick’s friends turned foes – the manager of the New York Continental gave John Wick a running start after he broke the rules in the last film, but he’s now clearly impatiently waiting for his gang of assassins to catch up with him.

Not the director of the movie, mind you – but “a member of the High Table and protector of John Wick.” So we’re going to get some political manoeuvring amongst the assassins? Ace!

Another “member of the High Table,” we imagine The Adjudicator will be hanging out with The Director, mainly because their names are so similar.

It’s not a John Wick movie without Lance Reddick’s Continental Hotel concierge. He’s traditionally been pally with Wick, but can their friendship survive the third instalment’s manhunt plot?

Berrada is a bit of a mystery; he’s a new character to the franchise and there’s not much info about him out there – we’re going to assume he’s a good guy, based on Taghmaoui’s charming performance in Wonder Woman.

Mantzoukas is primarily known for his comedy roles, so it’s interesting to see him associated with such a threatening tagline with his new character’s name. Could he be playing against type as a dangerous assassin?

According to Dacascos, Zero is a John Wick fanboy, which will make for an interesting dynamic – especially as Zero is Wick’s main adversary. One thing’s for sure, the fight scenes will be spectacular, Dacascos is a martial arts expert.
