26 YEAR OLD CLAIMED THE CROWN OF MISS GHANA

Rebecca Nana Adwoa Kwabi has defied all odds to win the 2019 edition of Miss Ghana.
The 26-year-old claimed the crown at the grand finale which took place at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City on Saturday, July 6, 2019.
A student of Maureen Signature Institute who reads fashion, a twin and a devout Christian, she was named the best choice for the beauty pageant out of the 19 who contested on the night.

She took home an official vehicle, one year volunteering with exclusive events Ghana/ Miss Ghana Foundation, a year platinum gym membership, the opportunity to represent Ghana at Miss World, a monthly allowance of GHC 1000 and the most enviable crown.
While Rebecca was crowned winner, eloquent Sarah Odei-Amoani was named first runner-up with Deborah Opoku Sarfo being the second runner-up.
They also took home an official vehicle each, monthly allowance and one year volunteering with Exclusive Events Ghana/ Miss Ghana Foundation.
Aside the main winner, Sarah who came second won miss beauty with purpose and Miss eloquent.
Miss fitness went to Rebecca, Miss Photogenic also went to Rebecca while Miss congeniality was Mabel with Rebecca being the contestant with best skin.
However, miss talent had three winners, Sarah, Deborah and Veronica.
Rebecca was also named winner of Top model, Miss social media queen was Sarah while the Most disciplined contestant went to Veronica.
Julia Moore, the Chairperson of the Miss World organisation was also honoured for her contribution to Miss World and support to Miss Ghana.
